tears

come to my eyes,

The fun we always

had

goofing around. 

I think that I am laughing

then

I realize I'm not.

I wonder why these

tears

are in my eyes.

You break my heart, then help it mend.

You make me laugh, then make me cry,

You say hello, then good-bye.

You make me hurt, then ease the pain,

You bring me sunshine, then some rain.

You are my every smile, my every tear,

You are my hopes, you are my fears.

You are my moon & my stars,

You are so near, and yet so far.

You are the one I love, the one I hate,

You are my future, you are my fate.

You are my past and my destiny,

You are the only one for me.

Worse Than Strangers

Hello there stranger, how have you been?

You look like someone who was my best friend.

He knew how to make me laugh and make me smile,

But I haven't seen him in quite a while.

I still miss his arms holdin' me tight,

But I made my choices, wrong or right.

I know we could've ended worse than strangers,

The wars we waged put our hearts and souls in danger.

The damage we could do with the words we'd say,

Along with the promises we threw away.

'Cause we both pushed till there was nothing but anger,

Yeah we could've ended worse than strangers.

Along time ago I had a best friend too,

She looked alot like someone like you.

I still think of her now and then,

Sit and wonder how things might have been.

'Cause I loved her more then words can say,

But none of that matters now anyway.

I know we could've ended worse than strangers,
