I think of you leaving and I feel sad in a way,

But it’s time to move on now, you can’t stay

I’ll cherish the memories; you are a million to one

I look forward to hearing of the man you’ve become.

I wish you the best; your future is bright,

I know from here you will choose what is right.

You will stumble, and at times you will fall,

But you have a strength that will see you through it all.

You are brave, courageous, a caring young man,

Your future is in the palm of your hand.

Remember that within you is the power to succeed,

You have friends & family to help with what you need.

Most important of all stay true to yourself,

Remember the hard times, all the pain you have felt.

For all you have been through, and all that you will,

Remember all you’ve learned and things that you feel.

Never let anyone tell you who you are,

For your dreams are endless and they will carry you far.

I will think of you often my young friend with a smile on my face,

And miss you truly each day I walk into that place.

So my nephew don’t let life get you down,

Remember you have love and friends all around!
